Mulberry looks at the crossed out runes along the floor. The marks contain a higher than average amount of “Person”, “Travel”, and “Gift” runes. The mare wonders ultimately what the purpose of the spell is, and guesses that it is perhaps some form of teleportation. There is no way to say for sure without activating the runes.
 
The mare looks at her spear again. This spell has a lot of “Big” runes. She wonders if her spear would work with it. Moreover, she wonders if she could cast the spell at all. The spell she just cast had only one “Big” and it took a lot out of her.
 
It might be just what she needs, but the risks could be great. On the other hoof, what else does she have? She supposes she could go downstairs and think of another plan, or maybe speak to the guards to see what the want.
