Info: Rainbow and Applejack had a brief moment where they were dating and were rushing into a lot of things. It might have been their competitive nature but they ended up deciding to have a kid of their own. Applejack carried Rome and while she was pregnant, Rainbow and her had a severe falling out. Though they were separated, they planned to still share custody of their unborn foal. They didn’t want their failed relationship to hurt the relationship they had with Rome. When Rome was born, they were met with another challenge. Rome was born intersex, meaning they had the composition of both genders. They weren’t entirely sure what to think, but they just knew they would love Rome no matter what. When Rome was born Applejack was completely enthralled to meet her new foal. They were perfect in everyway and had such a unique coat. As Rome grew up, Applejack began to wonder if she should take full custody of Rome. After all, Rainbow was married now with her new son Cosmic and Applejack was dating Thunderlane. She could see how well Thunderlane treated Rome and thought that it would be healthier if she grew up with just them. Of course this caused a major fight between her and Rainbow so the shared custody stayed. Rome loves their parents equally as well as their step fathers and siblings. Though, they don’t always feel like they belong, they’re still happy.
