Names: Dahlia and Aster
Age: 21/Mature
Gender: Female
Dahlia Basics: Dahlia is somewhat of a snob. Though she looks and appears perfectly ameable she does have a tendency to act spoiled and bratty sometimes. However, this does not stop her from taking care of the customers that come to her shop. Dahlia runs a jewelry shop, specializing in custom, naturally-made items that suit the customer’s personality. The jewelry she made for herself is simple because deep down, Dahlia can be a bit insecure, which leads her to put on the snobby front for attention. She is very close with Aster despite his large appetite. She hates to get wet.
Aster Basics: Aster is larger than Dahlia and often has more of an appetite. This is one of the reasons Dahlia can be shy, as it sometimes makes her unsettled. Aster is fairly protective of Dahlia, though does not always show it. In public, Aster can seem indifferent towards Dahlia, but in private the plant is very affectionate. Aster’s favorite thing is the rain, which Dahlia begrudgingly allows as she hates to get wet.
Bio: Dahlia and Aster grew up in a simple plant pony village. As a filly, Dahlia was often quiet, with Aster having the larger of the personalities. The two got along well, though other ponies were puzzled to always find that Aster seemed so distant with Dahlia. Having a bigger appetite, the plant was often quiet about his hunger, as it unsettled meek Dahlia. However, after an incident where Aster’s hunger got the better of him and Dahlia was forced to face the more gruesome side of meat-eating, she began to put on a front. Once meek, Dahlia became almost crude, beginning to strut as she matured and took on a more snobby persona. This fooled most ponies, but not Aster, and a mutual if not silent agreement was formed between the two to accept the other’s differences to get along better. After that the two became close, though Aster often remained distant in public, taking on an almost tsundere attitude towards Dahlia that melted away to affection behind closed doors. Dahlia herself found that she enjoyed making jewelry after making a matching set of necklace and earrings for herself. She began her own business, trying to match her jewelry not to her customer’s requests, but deeper personality as she knew that ponies were layered, just like her and Aster. The shop, though small, flourished and Dahlia is happily making jewelry and grumbling good-naturedly when Aster drags her out into the rain.
