It’s way past time for me to actually share my OC.  
Name: Mystic Night  
Gender: Stallion  
Race: Unicorn  
Talent: The study and recreation of ancient, forgotten, or lesser known magic.
 
As a colt, Mystic Night would try a new hobby every week. Nothing held his attention for very long, until he came across a reference book in the library describing a spell that neither he nor any other unicorn in town had heard of before. After months of study, he managed to recreate the spell. The results weren’t the best, but it inspired him to continue his studies to learn more about lost magic and earned him his cutie-mark: a blue moon.  
Later in life, a magical mishap near Luna Bay caught the attention of the Royal Sisters. He was brought to Canterlot and offered the resources to continue his studies under the guidance of Princess Luna.
 
Personality: Mystic Night, when first met, usually comes of as nervous and/or anti-social. However, when given time to get comfortable around new ponies, he’s very confident and talkative. He’s normally hesitant to speak his mind or voice his opinion, but is a bit hot-headed and can be very vocal about his opinion when confronting someone who offended him.
