One sunny summer day, Sweetie Belle is walking by herself in a rather quiet part of her local park when she is suddenly confronted by a large, talking snake named Kaa hanging around in a tree. Sweetie is naturally frighted by quite a strange creature, but Kaa assures her that he means no harm and shows her his colorful, spirally eyes. Once Sweetie Belle locks eyes with the colorful rings, she instantly forgets about her fear and allows herself to completely relax. Her mind becomes blank and her eyes form spirals of their own, the young girl now completely hypnotized by the python. Seeing his victim’s spiral eyes, Kaa wraps his coils around Sweetie Belle’s waist (pinning her arms to her sides) and lifts her up into a high branch in his tree. After sitting her down and patting her head (which makes her give a warm smile), Kaa releases Sweetie from his grasp so that she can slide down his body into a larger mass of coils resting on a slightly lower branch. Once she is completely wrapped up, Kaa tells his young friend to take a little nap for a while. Obeying Kaa’s wishes, Sweetie Belle gives a little yawn before closing her eyes and falling into a deep sleep, not knowing that she is now nothing more than a pet to this strange snake….
