Personality/Background:
Somewhat bratty and spoiled, but very loving and sweet, Firefly is the only child of Dream Weaver and an unknown father. She is also known as the light of her mama’s life and barely knows anyone but her save for a few kids at daycare. She is pretty shy though and somewhat new to the whole socialization thing and tends to not have very many friends. Her age at least.
She spent a lot of her time with her mama and therefore with her friends that she knew back in school so she’s a lot more comfortable around adults than she is with other children. Other foals tend to overwhelm her and she will cry very easily but grown ups always are so nice to her! They give her snacks and tell her how cute she is~ She knows she’s cute! She just loves to hear about it all.
She was the result of her mama being kind of reckless back when she was still in high school and having a little bit too much fun with her partner at the time. Her coltfriend, once learning that Dream Weaver was expecting, bolted. He cut all contact and pretended to not know her. After all, they’d only been a thing for like, a few weeks. Dream caught on to her pregnancy pretty early. But she doesn’t need a daddy, she has her mama and all her mama’s friends so she doesn’t care!
Relationships:
Firefly has an exceedingly great relationship with her mother. She’s really all that she knows and she’s smart enough to understand that things might not be easy, but her mama does her best and she looks over all her mama’s down days so that they can keep having good ones. She’s fantastic at bringing a smile to her face.
Firefly barely knows her grandparents. They were not elated to learn about the conception of Firefly and the fact that Dream was going to keep her and even less excited about when she dropped out of school. Because of this, Dream Weaver moved out but is slowly mending fences with her parents and she’s coming to learn who they are and she likes them! They’re a little scary, they get upset when mama is around and get loud but when it’s just them, they make her all sorts of pies and cookies, spoiling her to death!
Out of all of the ponies that her mama knows, despite not getting along well with her, Firefly absolutely adores Ambrosia and could spend all day just braiding her mane or helping her pick apples. The farm is so fun! It’s too bad her mama doesn’t like Ambie. Firefly loves her!

Special:
- is half common pony and half bat pony leading to an interesting mix of genetics! She has a brighter, slightly more saturated coat then normal bat ponies and her wings are covered in a thin layer of feathers making her look really fluffy!
-Actually inherited her mother’s ADHD, leading her to having a short attention span, jittery and tends to talk a little too fast because she has many things to say but her mouth can only move so fast - Enjoys finding quiet places to perch and hang from, sticking closely to the stereotype of bat ponies as well as having a bit of a biting problem.
- Despite being able to see almost clear as day in the dark, she’s terrified of the dark and demands to either have her starry lights on or sleep with mama.
- has a fascination with her namesake, fireflies and tries her best to follow them around despite not being able to fly or catch them yet.- Has picked up a slight country accent from the Apple family because she spends so much time around them.
