General Bio:  
Born the first child from the infamous Rainbow Dash she was her pride and joy. Her father, named her after RD’s constant babbling about the right name for her perfect little pegasus, i mean what on Equestia would fit a baby as awesome as her? She was very close with her parents at the start, racing and flying with the rest of the wonder bolts just like her mom. This was before her siblings were born, before her mother started paying less and less attention to her. Maple was never very interested in following her moms hoof prints, she wanted to do something else but was unsure what. But her siblings did, training everyday. RD was determined to prepare them.
 
Then what of Maple?
 
She began to rebel, getting piercings, hanging around bad ponies, smoking pot, etc. What else would get her attention? The only pony she could turn to was her best friend Star Catcher, who listened and comforted her. They were inseparable. Soon enough Maple realized she was gaining feelings for her best friend, her heart skipping a beat each time she saw her. She would never get to admit this though, because Star cared for her too much to keep allowing her to go down the drug filled path she was traveling. A fight broke out. Now Maple is convinced she hates her former best friend, but does she really?
