Description

Artist’s description from DA:
It’s Sir Hiss, the sneaky serpentine servant of the greedy Prince John from Disney’s “Robin Hood.” An original character who served his good-for-nothing phoney king with fiendish loyalty, and yet he gets nothing but a deaf ear when he warns John, and after giving the tyrant an earfull for not listening to him, the snake ends up with a head or body full of abuse, from having his head smashed with a mirror to getting swatted with a wooden beam. In a word, Sir Hiss is an unrequited friend to a foolish, greedy manbaby of a fiend who never listens to his warnings of Robin Hood. Hiss might’ve been the crony to a royal phoney, but he deserves to have a true friend. Hopefully, his time doing hard labor will give him a chance to have a clean slate and work with someone who will treat him with the respect and appreciation he deserves.
As a snake lover, Sir Hiss is one of my favorite Disney characters. I admit I do feel sorry for him, and how he got nothing from his superior but neglect and abuse. I remember coming up with Disney crossovers featuring him as a good guy, usually as the voice of reason and spy, but he rarely got any disrespect or abuse.
And I have a good feeling he’s probably going to be in my My Little Pony fanfic. Whether he’ll be the same character, or this will be a different character but with a similar personality and role, and Rarity would make his little cap. Since I already made vectors of MLP’s snakes, I decided to seize the opportunity to make My Little Pony version of our reptilian aide. Making the cap wasn’t too tricky. However, since the snakes’ heads weren’t high enough, I wasn’t able to make his cape. So for now, it’s just his little hat.
