This is the sort of thing that used to cheer you up. I’d stand on you and say something stupid and it would be funny. Why isn’t it working anymore?

I’ve finally become the pony I was meant to be. I don’t understand why you look like you want to cry every time we meet up.
I don’t know why I bother.
I realize in the years I was gone I really wasn’t missing anything. There’s nothing in the outside world to care about.

In Autumn’s Bad End she ends up kidnapped under the guise of therapy and disappears for like a solid year or two. When she re-appears she seems a lot more stable and happy but probably totally brainwashed and doesn’t seem to care about anything other than a job she doesn’t really talk about.
For some reason this makes Tempus feel bad.
