“GURL, what’s up?” Firefly was startled by a familiar voice from behind.
“Girl, don’t startle me like that! Do you want everyone to hear you?” Firefly snapped before calming down quickly. “Your dragon chick grounded again?”
“Yes!” Bedlam cried. “She’s grounded for like, a year! I need something to do!”
Firefly grinned. “Girl, you’ve come to the right pony. I was just about to go pranking and I needed someone to be my backup.”
“Hay yeah!” Bedlam beamed. “Who’s our victim?”
“Phil,” a mischievous smile crawled across Firefly’s face. “We’re gonna get him at the jewelry store.”
Bedlam burst into laughter. “Phil? That creepy grump? At the jewelry store?” She struggled to compose herself. “What the hay is he doing there?”
“You know Angel? Prince Prettyboy’s kid? She’s always hanging around Phil. I swear, he treats her like she’s his kid.” Firefly turned and looked out the castle window at a certain building. “She makes him take her to all the frou-frou stores and he actually does it for her. That’s where they are right now and that’s where we’ll make our move.”
Bedlam shook Firefly’s hoof. “I’m in.”

Firefly and Bedlam crouched behind a bush, already in their pony disguises. They eyed the door of the jewelry store, waiting for their victim.
“Once he comes out, BOOM! We’re gonna dump the goods on him. It’s gonna be the prank of the year!” Bedlam laughed.
“I know right? He’ll be sparkly for weeks with this stuff!” Firefly lightly tugged on a string connected to a bucket hanging over the store entrance. “We better beat it before he finds us; if he gets his hooves on us we’re dead. Especially if he tells his creep of a husband.”
Bedlam shuddered at the thought of being murdered before puffing her chest out confidently. “That’s not gonna happen! We can outfly the both of them!”
“Shh! They’re coming!” Firefly shoved a hoof in Bedlam’s mouth as the store’s door opened.
A small white pegasus filly trotted out. Phil’s kid friend, Firefly thought as she and Bedlam prepared to strike. “Thank you for taking me shopping, Prince Philia!” the filly called behind her.
“It’s good to know that you’re satisfied.” A strangely familiar stallion walked out behind the filly. It was Phil, in disguise himself to remain concealed from the public. “I will carry your ba-”
“Go!” Firefly hissed as Bedlam yanked on the string. Just then, a large bucket dropped down on Phil’s head, spilling sticky, glittery ooze all over the place. He reeled back in surprise. “Right on target!” The two mares giggled and bumped hooves.
Phil threw the bucket off and stood in shock, pink ooze dripping from his head. He glanced around vengefully, searching for the culprit of such an appalling action. Suddenly, he could hear giggling…strangely familiar, and coming from a certain bush. Turning his gaze towards the sound, he approached the bush like a predator advancing on his prey. “You…”
“Buck! He found us!” Bedlam and Firefly took off as fast as they could, far away from the vengeful changeling prince. They didn’t care about continuing their pranking spree; they had to find somewhere to hide.
