Effigy is the daughter of Discord and Trixie Lulamoon. So much chemistry… On the outside, Effigy seems to have been born a normal unicorn filly with normal unicorn powers, but she does have some special abilities, such as being able to float for short distances. The reason she has so much hair and she has to tie it up is because she has two snake appendages coming out of her head. Most ponies scream in fear at such unorthodox appendages, so for everyone else’s convenience, she threads the snakes into her giant braid. The snakes also have the ability to turn others into stone if one looks into either of their eyes. Effigy only shows off her snakes in magical performances in which she uses her Medusa abilities on volunteers and then immediately reverses it. I should probably mention that her tongue is serpentine.
 
Effigy tends to be very reserved, but she usually gives a kind word to anyone who looks lonesome. It’s not confirmed, but she may have some telepathic or powers. Off the stage, she usually does odd jobs in order to earn her keep since she generally lives without her parents. She can’t stand dishonest ponies and freeloaders.
