As I’m sure many of you have heard, the event staff at BronyCon announced that their next convention, BronyCon 2019, will be the last BronyCon.  
This news actually saddened me quite a lot. I seriously couldn’t concentrate for an entire day after hearing the terrible news, and every time I think about it, I get a bit depressed, partially because the convention will be gone, and partially because it kind of feels like the fandom is coming to an end. I love this fandom so much, and I really don’t want to see it fade away. Just the thought of it sickens me. And what’s more, I was just getting started! I was barely starting to become involved in the community, and it feels like it’s ending!
 
I’ve never been able to attend a BronyCon, but I swore that one day, I would find a way to attend one, but now, next year is my last chance! And then it will be gone forever!  
I’m seriously praying that the other conventions don’t start shutting down as well.
 
I guess it goes to show you not to take things for granted. Everything wonderful is taken away eventually. Though it seems like a crime to let something as wonderful as the brony fandom die away.
 
I don’t know how I’m going to manage it, but I swear, I am going to find a way to get to that convention next year! I just HAVE to! Come hell or high water, I WILL get to BronyCon 2019!
