For this girl, when I heard Empress, this is how my train of thought ended up going:

Empress -> Ruler -> Royalty -> Princess -> Alicorn

So naturally, I went with that approach immediately. Then I realized that I couldn’t think up the color scheme. So I ended up going to the card for a reference. I expected myself to put ore purple before, but I noticed I did it with a lot more red. Tried also to borrow some elements of Rarity as well.
