“You know, it is kinda funny that I’ve been living her three years and we never really talked.”
“To be fair, I really don’t talk to the other tenants that much either.”
“Yeah,” you let out a little half laugh, “So how did you loose your leg anyway.”
Tyra sighs, “I really don’t want to go into details, but lets just say that I’m happy I talked to my former boss about workplace safety violations before and after I got hurt.”
“Oh.”
“Don’t sweat it. Cold File it’s in the past.”
“You can call me File by the way… for short.”
“Oh, alright File.”
“Well hey, thanks for talking to me.You really helped me out more than you know.”
“You’re heading out?”
“Yeah, I’ve got some things I still need to take care of today.”
“Alright.”
You get up from the chair and start making your way to the door.
“Thank you for the tea as well.”
“It’s no problem, It was nice talking to you.”
“You as well.”
“Aright, well if you ever have anymore questions or if you want to just shoot the shit, you know where I live.”
“Thanks Tyra.”
“Have a good day!”
As you step into the hall, you think about your music collection, which consists of three tapes right now. You also, have some free time so you could always go somewhere or spend some time at home.
As you walk down the hall back to your apartment you feel your wing start acting up again.
