Originally from the far north, much further than the reaches of Equestria, this Penguin immigrated to Trottingham with his daughter, where he set up a jewellery store where he sold countless gems imported from his home country, including the very rare Icicle Diamonds, rumoured to have the magical ability to freeze anything over. However this shop is in reality, only a front in order for his more “shadier” businesses, including money laundering, dealing in stolen goods, and the occasional case of smuggling now and then. Over time, Charlatan became one of the biggest crime bosses in Equestria, with some of his cronies dubbing him the “King” of Ice, and the only thing he truly demands is the respect he deserves, always using his Icicle Diamond cane to magically freeze all those he believes deserves to be “Iced”
