Reminds me of an OC for Tarzan. Fernanda, a noble Titanoboa from Pellucidar who first meets them when helping Jane Porter to save Tarzan; a friendship forging in it. While many view serpents as monsters, Jane sees her nobility and bonds with her well; even letting her coil around her to hug her and to protect her in sleep (especially from Pellucidar’s prehistoric hunters including raptors, sabre-toothed cats, dire wolves, Hyenadons, Entelodons, Phorusrachoses, Carnortaurs, Megalosaurs, short-faced bears, Dimetrodons, haast eagles, and Spinosaurs). And Jane reacts with joy when Fernanda gets her own babies; many from forthcoming pals to her children, and many of their descendants being pals to hers.
