With as much strength and lung power as he could muster, Spike let loose the largest dragon breath of green flames he could. He had a determination in his eyes, an all or nothing attack. It could damage it, or at the very least scare it off, but something he wasnt expecting to happen occurred.
The demon dog began loosing its green glow, as if the flames were cooling it down. It held its hands to shield itself, but despite that began to blacken and stiffen up. When Spikes flames died down, the demon dog, fell to the floor, seemingly drained of it energy.
Second panel
The demon dog was brought to his knees, panting in exhaustion. The body was darker and cracking, but green flames were starting to form again. Spike realized this was his chance, and if he didnt take it, the demon dog might just get back up.
He ran past the dog, and up a some rocks up to the cave wall. He kicked off the wall to give him some height as he turned and jumped towards the fallen demon dog.
“Hyyyeaaah” Spike yelled as he was about to deliver his dragon drop kick.
