Rarity’s Inner Thoughts: “WHITE! AFTER! LABOR DAY! FASHION FAUX PAS!!! NO, no, calm yourself Rarity! Don’t insult Fluttershy for this, she didn’t mean to. Do not ruin her happiness. Focus on the adorable couple’s sweaters! Suppress. INNER. FASHION SENSE!”
 
Rarity: “Th-they’re lovely darling… the both of you look so p-precious…”
 
Fluttershy: “Oh, I knew you’d like them! And Big Mac got my these beautiful matching earrings to go with mine!”
 
Rarity’s Inner Thoughts: “DO NONE OF THE APPLES HAVE AN OUNCE OF CLASS???”
 
Rarity: “Aw, h-how s-s-sweet.”
 
Fluttershy: “Isn’t he? Even better, I just found these adorable matching shoes!”
 
Rarity’s Inner Thoughts: “SWEET CELESTIA, MAKE IT STOP!!!”
 
Big Mac’s Inner Thoughts: ”…Flutter’s mane sure is soft. Feels awful nice on mah cheek.”
 

 
Uh, happy Labor Day?
 
Yeah, the old “don’t wear white after Labor Day” cliche was the first thing to pop into my head when I was thinking of ideas for what to do for a September holiday. It was either this or something about mattress sales (which I may or may not have a gag for that I’m saving for later). Fortunately the holidays get much more interesting from here, though that’s not to say I didn’t enjoy making this one. I’m rather pleased with how it all came out.
