“Yes, it is… surprising.”
“An’ ta think, ya’ll were old friends, and now they brought ya together again!”
“I don’t think ‘friends’ is quite the right word, darling.”
“Hey Tavi, look!”
“Oh, you have friends? I wasn’t aware you were the type, Rarity.”
“Tavi, babe, check this out!”
“Oh, I have loads! And never has a single one come to me for money.”
“Well I’m certain you gave them something all the same. You were always so… generous.”
“Tavi, are you seeing this?”
“Uh, sugarcube? Ya’ll wanna tone it down a bit?”
“Oh, but what I had couldn’t begin to compare to the Silvers! You always had so much.”
“Tavi!”
“WHAT, Vinyl?”
“Tavi, LOOK at this muddafuggin apple! It’s so… red and stuff! It’s fuggin’ amazing!”
A request for MustLoveFrogs. In her world, Octavia and Rarity were not exactly the chummiest of chums. While decent enough on their own, when together they… don’t bring out the best in themselves. Well, a few years later in the narrative, Rarity marries Applejack while Octavia marries Scratch, and their little sisters Sweetie Belle and Silver Spoon are starting down that road themselves. Naively hoping that the two old rivals have put aside their differences by now, Applejack invites their possible future inlaws over to discuss the future and maybe make friends. It’s not going well.
On the other hand, she thinks that Vinyl gal is a hoot. She’s never met a pony with that much of an appreciation for apples, at least not a pony that didn’t have it in their name.
