A side project done in school, because I got ahead of the class again. The teachers let me do whatever as long I make use of the school programs and machines instead of goofing off on facebook.I like having digital things on something physical, like DVD’s, CD’s or an external hardisk. Decided to make some fine covers for a couple of CD’s with MLP;FiM songs. Had fun making the designs, less fun trying to get the digital printer to do as told as it was during the period it had a lot of difficulties with working properly. It ate the front covers once. Another time it printed the back and front of the paper ascrew so they didn’t match. But succeeded in the end. Sadly I couldn’t do much for the CD itself, since the only materials I got to work with were paper or foil. Foil could look neat and easy to stick onto the CD, but would be too thick and with a surface that would make the CD useless in any machine. So, I simply printed a small design on paper which I put through my sticker-machine at home, to put it on the CD.It’s not all too perfect, a lot of the images turned blurry and pixelated. I gotta figure out how I fix that in the program. I know there’s no villain songs, but I still used images of them villains ‘cuz I like them, and to signal clearly which season the soundtrack is from (that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!)Had fun making these.
