“ There’s something relaxing about just taking a square canvas and making a basic portrait in it. Helps when it works out of course, but still hah. And why not make Celestia? I often end up making at least a couple Celestia pieces each year. Maybe her sister will show up in the future as well. We’ll see.
 
I seem to get in just the right mindset with these, from playing around with the face shape, the ear, and then especially the hair. Not getting locked in trying to make it look close to the show’s hairstyle, but at most just taking some general aspects from it.  
Then I had to decide how I was actually going to make her hair look like visually in the first place… stumbling across this. Happy accident!
