Rarity loves her daughter. Really, truly, she does! But Dee is just… so hard to get along with! She snaps at her mother, is quick to become prickly, refuses all offers of help, and just doesn’t seem to understand that Rarity is trying her best. The pair get in screaming matches somewhat often, and Rarity cries to herself afterwards every time.
The result of a one-night stand, Dee’s father had no interested in raising a kid and left Rarity to shoulder the job on her own. Her friends were a great help, of course, but they had their own kids, and they could only do so much.
Dee’s special talent is metal working, particularly when it comes to jewelry.
