Original Description:
That poor creature, sobbing, sniffling and wailing into the wool of an alpaca she’d envied so much… How long exactly had it been since she was embraced by someone who genuinely liked her for her? Did her father hug her like this? Paprika never saw her mother, was she ever in the picture to hug her like this? Did she even have friends who weren’t sycophants?
Maybe it didn’t matter, she thought to herself, draping her favorite blanket over the reindeer to provide extra to the needed affection; Paprika’s wool was well cared for to insulate her friends from the frigid cruelties of reality, clean and more than absorbant enough to dab away up any tears, snot or– Oracle forbid it– blood.
Poor Velvet squeezed ever tighter, wracked with another series of sobs. Paprika nuzzled her in kind; this was what she was made for, her destiny. It felt so good to do this, providing comfort for needy little ungulates… and one day she hoped, her village fellows would be amongst them.
