It also hints a headcanon I came up with: Someone corrupted Twilight and she became Nightmare Twilight Midnight Sparkle, and she turning all these ponies of different races savage, and making the rest paranoid. She had all the alicorns killed off so that she may be the one. For years, she had brought fear, segregation, anger, and inappropriate behaviors to Equestria, until one of her heirs betrayed her, and used the Crystals of Magic to rid the world of magic seemingly forever in order to defeat her, putting an end to her tyrannical rule. Unfortunately, the damage was already done, and he was exiled, but returned, only to be executed.
