Original Description:
For most of his life, Fireshy has been a timid stallion. Usually, he has tried to run away from trouble. In the end, however, trouble won’t stay away from him. When the pain of being pushed around finally becomes too much for him to stand, that’s when he finally snaps. And that is when he starts to realize how strong he can truly be.
Fireshy was born in Foalstown, one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the Starpony Kingdom. He ran away when he was 13, fearing it was just a matter of time before some thug would kill him. He took a train far away from the city, and he ended up in the small town of Friendsville. He spent the last years of his childhood in the local orphanage.
Friendsville is a far more peaceful place than Fireshy imagined a world could be. Still, every place has its bullies, and bad people sometimes see him as an easy target to mess with. Unlike in Foalstown, Fireshy has never had to face a thug. Still, every time he gets taken advantage of, it is one more straw threatening to break the horse’s back.
In standing up for himself, Fireshy must learn the difference between defending himself and becoming a bully himself. To build his courage to face the world, Fireshy carries a variety of security blankets. One of these special items is his special jacket – which makes him look like a greaser.
Fireshy learns that he can often win without a fight. As he learns, he can often stare down an enemy with the power of his eyes and voice. When Fireshy dresses like a tough boy on the streets, he can feel like one.
When he finally has to fight, Fireshy realizes he is stronger than he thought. As a colt, he was kind of a weakling, and he was bad at flying. Since then, he was afraid to try his strength. Little did he know – in his everyday activities, he was getting stronger and stronger. And with his new friends, he never feels alone!
