They look like plants at first glance, but many of them branch out in odd ways, and on the end are hard looking shell-like protrusions.
There are smaller, melon shaped plants as well that have holes all over them. With a slight spine chill, Mulberry realizes the spherical plants resemble the walls in the farmhouse attic.
Watching the plants for a second and realizes another oddity. She had thought the plants were swaying in the wind slightly, but it just appears to be the plants themselves twitching.
