Y’all, this is probably the best design I’ve ever done. I love this character with all my heart and I’m so excited to have them in my cast of next gen. Everyone, meet Pedha!
 
Pedha, the daughter of Donut Joe and Saffron Masala, is a frizzy-haired and feisty mare. She has absolutely no problem speaking her mind, especially to entitled and rude customers. She does the same things with her friends too, holding them accountable when they’re due for a talking to. And because she’s such an honest and hard-truth kinda friend, it’s common for her to be the one who her buddies come to with their secrets and confessions.
 
Pedha hops between jobs, helping both her father and her mother with their Canterlot restaurants. She bakes traditional South-Asian desserts for The Tasty Treat (and runs deliveries around the restaurant) and supports her dad during the more busy times at the Canterlot Donut Shop. Fortunately, Donut Joe wants nothing more than to spoil his daughter rotten and usually gives her the day off, having regularly handled the shop by himself. She gets along well with her parents but doesn’t see eye to eye with her grandfather, Coriander Cumin, who she has spats with on a regular basis.

A ship I thought about for .2 seconds has now spawned one of my favorite next gen designs of all time and I’m obsessedddddd
