Fluttershy and Big Macintosh’s first child, Paula Red was a bit of a shock for her parents when she was born, as she apparently inherited whatever minuscule trace of Flutterbat that was still left in her mother. Fortunately though, she doesn’t have the desire to suck the juice out of as many apples as possible, which came as a relief to her Aunt Applejack. In fact, she ended up sharing her mother’s interest in animals, and ended up discovering her talent for helping them heal when she met a stray cat with an injured leg at the market one day. She’s currently training to be licensed veterinarian with help from her mother’s close friend, Dr. Fauna.

As for relationships, Paula is good friends with the rest of the Mane 6 children, being especially close to her cousin Tarte Tatin, as she’ll often help her with taste-testing whatever baked dish she just came up with. She’s especially close with Discord and Celestia’s son High Noon, having known him since they were very young, and the two of them have recently started dating.
