ive been thinking about next gen stuff recently so heres one of my appledash kids, deadbolt!!

Personality  
Deadbolt is a little bit of an outlier in her family. Quiet, deadpan, and a little snide, she harshly contrasts her energetic, good-natured, and friendly parents and siblings. She did inherit some of her parents’ qualities, though: she’s confident, tough, and has a commanding presence that intimidates some ponies. Though she’s definitely not friendly, she’s not really mean.. but she’ll probably call you a dork.
 
 
Relationships
 
Despite their differences, she has a good relationship with her family. She’s a rebel by nature, though, and gets grounded left and right- usually it’s because she did something like getting ANOTHER piercing without asking first. She’s unbothered by punishment and just waits until she’s ungrounded again.. to get more piercings. She’s not a great example for her younger siblings.
 
Her relationship with Applejack is slightly more strained, since she’s stricter than Dash, and is usually the one grounding her. They love each other dearly, but Deadbolt has an attitude, and AJ has a temper. Rainbow isn’t perfect either- though she’s the “fun mom”, she’s still a parent, and has to shut down Dead’s antics sometimes. Her punishments are far fewer, but more severe, and earn much more exasperated-sounding groans from Bolt. When Deadbolt feels like behaving, though, she gets along wonderfully with her moms. She’d never admit it, but she still likes when they baby her sometimes, just because it reminds her she’s loved.
 
She teases all her siblings relentlessly and ropes them into all sorts of rebellious mischief, much to the chagrin of their parents. She’s the second-oldest, and her younger siblings especially adore her and her schemes. The youngest, Buttercup, is a goody-two-shoes and usually protests, but Dead always tells him to “Suck it up, Buttercup,” and flicks him in the nose. She’s defensive of all her siblings and vows to protect them.
 
She also finds a close friend in the equally antisocial Tuff Love.
 
She’s also trans, and Deadbolt is her chosen name, which is why it doesn’t match the name scheme of the Appledash family. Both her parents and all her siblings are wholeheartedly supportive! When she came out, Dash said her name was “wicked cool” and wished she’d thought of it first.–
 
her cm/talent is probably going to change tbh.. but i love her so much!!! SO MUCH
