Born and raised in Stable 34, Twintails found enjoyment in maintaining the large reactors that powered the entirety of the underground shelter, as well as watching and re-watching films and videos of old Megaspell and Balefire Bomb explosions, spending ages studying the effects that the centuries-old weapons had upon the surface above. After one too many incidents involving missing fuel rods, junk plumbing, and gunpowder from the firing range, and mysterious requests for high rations of anti-radiation medicine, and the eventual upbringing of a second Reactor Maintenance pony, he was swiftly sent on a part retrieval mission concocted by collaboration between the Overmare and Gamma Ray, the eldest Reactor Maintenance pony, and had the door slammed shut tight behind him. Packed with an old set of riot armor, a Luger modified to fit .45 Auto, and his Pip-Buck, he’s been scouring the wasteland for a neutron-dampening radiothermic coil…
 
…in other words, walking around aimlessly for ages. He does miss home, but not all that much, what with the new toys he’s found - why sit and watch films of Balefire explosions when he can make his own? He especially loves watching raiders and Enclave pegasi vaporizing into radioactive ash~
