“A brilliant idea, you say? Poor Opal won’t be happy about this one.
 
I tried to mimic more of the MLP Manga style for this one; their noses are significantly smaller at various angles, but they seem far more animated in their body language and expressions, so I wanted more of that. I really enjoy looking at that art style.
 
This was really time consuming; there was plenty of distraction available today, but there were also four (technically five) ponies to draw, and I didn’t organize my layers in a sensible way; it was far too complex for the needs of the work. Trying to be too clever, or just using a particular technique when it isn’t needed, I guess.
